Board at work

My bulletin board door at work - top is some fave images; bottom is mindful work content. Latest addition is the set of re-purposed business cards, inspired by hipster PDA and slip method. I wrote those up in my first weeks, and after a year - these themes hold up completely. Now posted for Constant Vigilance!

KIND BUD, the Backroom CUB, the Queer KIN DUB thee: Virtuoso of the cosmic dance. Many have talents which excite, thrill, and entertain; but you are incredibly hot simply by virtue of your intense honesty. Come with us!

Strategy:

Dealer = Your teammate has basically testified that he, too, holds no Ace of Trump to be concerned with protection, and you now feel more freely able to burn into the contractor's trump cards without much fear of accidentally burning your collaborator. Considering the Cosmic Tribe members remaining in the Aether, and thinking of the powerful Void cards mentioned by the Bitch, you're feeling as though you're invited to light a fire under the contract-taker in the hopes of delivering just the right kind of burn. With the only remaining face card in the House Of Fire already standing in your possession (way up on the tightrope, as it's the Ω Archon Funambulist worth +4 tĂȘte points) and plenty of "sandbags" you may heave-ho from your giddy position of incendiary power: alight the Ace of Wands!

Initiate (Contractor) = You must follow suit with your remaining Wand here, acquiescing with the Virtuous Fire 3. (Shut up, Fool! We don't need to hear from your damn DEMON mouth right now! Just be quiet, you silly Joker, and wait until you can do something useful! Hush! No Zeros needed now! Thanks.) The fire will become too dangerous for any future usage by the Wizard because overtrumps will soon be ominous; but standing in the void of fire is somewhat necessary because it will prevent the Ω Archon Funambulist of Flames from escaping in this direction. You hold the five co-Titans because your 21 20 19 was able to find a rainbow-bridge all the way to the 17 when the Bitch gave you the 18 Moon. These five unbeatable cards should help to "cock-block" in the Void if the Ω Archon of Fire tries to leap from his high-wire act. Let's just say you've got his number, and his little toetoe too, you flaming witch!

Medium = You don't have a choice. The only move you can make is: follow suit with your final card of 9 Cooperative Wands. You see your partner capturing this tierce with the Ace, and that suggests he probably can afford to wave a few wands before the Ω Archon tightrope-walker is in danger of being toasted. You see the Contractor acquiescing with the Fire 3, and that suggests rather obviously the Initiate's position must be depleted of, or nearly depleted of, further Wands of Fire. He could theoretically have some remaining low card, but that would seem like a ridiculous move because it would allow any Archon to escape; so it's more likely the other pip cards under the House Of Fire are with your friend the Dealer. Your teammate is quite possibly able to deduce the impending Void over the Fires in both your hand as well as the taker's, but that won't guarantee an escape for the Ω Archon of Fire unless you manage to finagle some lucky overtrump later. Just how high in the Tower is your Devil perched? Will the 16 or 15 of trumps actually accomplish anything?

Scansion:
Dealer = Ace of Fire.
Initiate (Contractor) = Fire 3.
Medium = Fire 9.
Defense scores +1 Tricky Point for the tierce, no face cards; this is added to their previous 9 for a new subtotal of 10 points at the end of this Trick I. Dealer maintains the tempo.

All packaged up and ready to be sent.

Really happy with how they turned out, but they probably took about an hour each overall! They are nice and personal and unique though and I couldn't have paid for that.

The illustration is of my own design over the top of a leaf background from a photo I'd taken. Unsurprisingly it's an autumn wedding.
