Half-dressed women, drinks and entertainment: sounds like a regular night at Potbelly’s. However, this week, angels will be making an appearance.
On Tuesday, Dec. 4, Florida State University’s Victoria’s Secret PINK Campus will host their annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Viewing Party at the local bar. What started as a promotional tool in the 1990s, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is now one of the most watched fashion shows on national television.
This year’s theatrics will be over the top. With model Adriana Lima as ring leader, it will open with a circus theme, and corresponding concepts of candy land and fantasy will follow suit. Any sweet tooth will be more than satisfied with an extra portion of performances by Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
Opening the doors at 9:00 p.m., the first 10 guests in line at Potbelly’s for the event will win “Enjoy the View” limited edition yoga leggings. The next 20 guests will win VS PINK raglan shirts. However, the prizes don’t stop there. During commercial breaks, games like PINK pong and PINK FSU corn hole will be played, which will boast prizes like PINK panties, PINK water bottles and PINK tote bags.
The night only gets PINKer from there. Guests who “like” Victoria’s Secret PINK at FSU on Facebook will retrieve a raffle ticket that may bestow free VS PINK apparel and Victoria’s Secret reward cards. In addition, a sorority competition will be hosted via Facebook. The Panhellenic sorority’s picture with the most likes will win reward cards, valued from to 0 for every member in their sorority.
FSU’s VS PINK Campus Representatives Brianna Barnebee and Avery Durant are responsible for the festivities.
“We found out the details about the event this summer and started planning it about a month ago,” said Barnebee. “We find the venue and plan all the activites to do at the event.
VS campus reps play a vital role in putting the event together, and always incorporate a fun energy in their events.
“I like that PINK is fun and flirty and it’s geared towards the college girl,” said Barnebee. “I look forward to the PINK girls in the show. The theme for this year is toyland so I am really excited to see them on stage.”

Project 365 Day 19: Andy Warhol's disembodied floating head [Explored!]

19-01-10 I'm sure Andy Worhol would have approved of me reusing this postcard I bought yesterday at the Robert Mapplethorpe exhibition. In the grand modern art tradition of the "readymade" artwork I have decided to reuse it and make it my own. To do this I just placed the postcard on the floor, took a shot from waist height at about 70mm focal length, cropped it square as a further tribute to Mapplethorpe and then used Silver Efex Pro to convert to B&W. A few tweaks with Lightroom and I had my final image.

Images Viewed: I'm not sure how I discovered his site but the work of Andy Bell has been knocking me out! Hes also on Flickr check him out.
Other Inspiration: In my "research" for this post I have been revisiting the works of Andy Worhol. His pop-art may now be over exposed and part of the canvas of our lives but that just goes to prove what a master of his craft he was.

After you approve the design, I'll send you a high resolution PDF file to use however you'd like. (Other file formats are available [JPEG, TIF, PNG] so please specify when placing your order. By default, PDFs will be sent. .AI files are available for a fee.) Print yourself or stop at a print specialist to do the work for you.
Cards can be uploaded to online sites like costco.com, walgreens.com, snapfish.com, shutterfly.com, etc etc
Prints can be made for a little as 13c each!!
