Finally done with the stupid christmas card photo. I wanted to blur us more but that idea was shot down :(

It's dark because people weren't on time...and we had to get out some crazy spot light things.

The 2011 family Christmas Card photo shoot...

This was Amy's idea and I think it turned out pretty well. The wrapping paper... the Xmas lights... Beats the hell out of those cartoonish Olan Mills "snowy day" backdrops.

My cards are getting less and less big budget/time every year. We'd been talking about doing this idea for a month but literally just up and did it the other afternoon during a huge rainstorm. That's not a backdrop, that's our front yard. The rain was HEAVY (and the power was out) so I couldn't put the house in the background like the painting calls for.

Anywho, Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday.
